World Architecture Day

In celebration of World Architecture Day, we have looked at inspirational buildings which could help you to design an interior with the wow factor!

Tip 1 IconThe American Radiator Building

The American Radiator Building is a dramatic and grandiose structure on a large scale, which takes inspiration from gothic and art deco architecture. This imposing structure is accentuated by a fabulous collaboration of black and gold. Black and metallics are popular choices for the modern interior, but this building demonstrates how you can pair popular palettes with more intricate and traditional designs for a truly magnificent finish.

Tip 2 IconWales Millennium Centre

The Wales Millennium Centre is a dynamic, modern building showcasing a Welsh slate exterior with glass entrance for a light and bright interior and a domineering copper-coloured feature piece above the entrance. Its genius lies in the subtle combination of textures and colours used. From the tactile nature of the multi-coloured slate to the stark, industrial nature of the central metal piece. Texture is a great way to bring together an interior when it comes to 'dressing' a room. Think soft, plump cushions to soften your bang on trend copper door handles and accessories.
